The hotel was gorgeous and fairly clean, with courteous and very polite staff on shift.

I really enjoyed its friendly professional employees.

Location: the hotel was close to the restaurant for dinner, the best bakery in Armidale, and the Gold Coast...

Excellent stay at Rydges. The room was beautifully styled and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower had fantastic water pressure, and we loved the bath robes and the refreshing smell of the toiletries. Parking right in front of our door was very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location was great and the rooms quiet, clean and well appointed. The restaurant was brilliant, though pricey.

The bed was atrocious. For a motel of that calibre and tariff, I feel we could expect a bed which didn't sink in the middle. It was extremely uncomfortable and didn't promote a good night's sleep, trying to sleep on a slant. The whole purpose of staying in a motel is to get a good night's sleep, and therefore until they fix up the beds I wouldn't recommend the motel to anyone. But I would go back there to eat!

I recently had a great stay at this hotel in a quiet area. The prices were reasonable and offered great value for money. The attention to detail was evident as the recently refurbished room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated that the room had 2 beds plus seating as advertised. The staff provided excellent service and the basic amenities were satisfactory. Additionally, the breakfast included was a nice perk.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic.

$9.00 for a premium beer! I know it is all about a convenience thing but when I can buy a 6 pack of the same beer for $18.00 and a carton (24 bottles for $50.00) it is not hard to work out that on a carton of beer a profit of $150.00 is, maybe, a bit over the top!

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. The first thing that stood out to me was the value for money. Despite the affordable price, the rooms were well-furnished and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was impressive, with a clean and spacious suite that had all the basic amenities. I especially appreciated the kitchenette in the room, as it made it easy to accommodate my children aged 6 and 9. The hotel's location in a quiet area was another plus point, ensuring a peaceful stay.

While overall everything was fine, I believe there is still room for improvement.

The staff were willing and happy to cater to our needs eg changing our room so my aged aunt did not have to climb any stairs.

So I went to this hotel for Christmas and I must say that they had some nice complimentary stuff like cookies and hot cocoa which was a pretty sweet gesture. Plus, the location near the town center was a big plus, since it was easy to get to nearby attractions. And to top it off, the view from my room was simply breathtaking!

There were a lot of things that ruined my stay at this hotel. The cleaning staff was not very efficient and our room was not cleaned properly.
